The Creation Story: Gen 1:1-2:3
Gen 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. God created the earth, the sky, and outer space. He created you and me! God loves us so much that He created this beautiful world for us to live in. The detail that God gives to His creations never ceases to amaze me! Had I created earth, we probably would not have seasons. The thought of changing the colors of the leaves throughout the year would not have occurred to me. The idea of designing each snowflake differently would have never crossed my mind. But, thank God, He gets the glory for it all! Making observations of God’s creations gives greater value and meaning to science. How do you observe? When you observe, you pay close attention to something. To observe, you may use your five senses: see, hear, smell, touch, and taste. What can you get from making observations? Observations help us to understand how things work.
